“ My boyfriend and I tried here for the first time this past Saturday evening. Had a reservation for 8:15, however they still accommodated us even after arriving a bit later. You have to turn and walk down a small pathway to get to the restaurant. I would arrive a bit ahead of time to find parking and the entrance. The staff seem very cordial, attentive and professional - a handful of them looked very young. The manager who happened to be talking to a table next to us told us "I hope you enjoy your dinner" kindly while walking past us. As someone else mentioned, there are a lot of tables as it is a small but cozy restaurant. I would request a table closest to the wall for a little more space. They play "classic pop/easy listening" - Frank Sinatra-esk music which makes for a relaxing, romantic setting. The inside is dark wood along with mirrors and fun art amongst walls. Def a classic Italian feel. The bread and pesto/garlic dipping sauces were delicious. Brussels sprouts were tasty but topped with a lot of bacon. The cavatelli was so delicious - def get that!! Salmon was just ok, a little over cooked. Loved the huge wine glasses and relaxing vibe of the place. Staff takes great care of you and food is delicious. Byob so don't forget some wine! Def recommend. ”

“ Our family has enjoyed the fine dining and superb service for over 20 years. Anthony has built La Cipollina to become best in class, second to none throughout the tri-state and beyond. Truly a hidden gem ....... ”

“ Wow, what can I say? I have never planned an event before and I was very nervous about it, but Anthony and Osnelly were wonderful every step of the way. I live 2 hours away so I couldn't try the food before choosing La Cipollina, but I chose the venue for my event because of the positive Yelp reviews and the fact that they have been in business for 40 years. There are tons of options from which to craft your own event menu. When I went over my selections with Anthony, he suggested I add the mozzarella because they're known for it, but this was not an upsell. He actually suggested replacing one of the hors d'oeuvres I had chosen which itself had an extra charge, so I would have saved money with his suggestion. But I ended up adding the mozzarella and keeping my other selections. When I arrived to the event, I was immediately greeted by an excellently-dressed young waiter named Jared. He was my main point of contact for the event and so incredibly kind and helpful. He helped me set up my tables and helped unload boxes of wine and beer from my car.  I was very impressed with the whole staff. They were wonderful, very professional and friendly and they all looked great. I had been a little nervous that I didn't bring a lot of decor, but all those nerves vanished the second I stepped inside the room they had reserved for my party. It was beautiful and perfect and didn't need any adornment whatsoever.  The food was incredible. People kept coming up to me all night to tell me how great the food was. I was very pleased. Anthony was right about mozzarella and I was glad I ordered it. We had the pork belly, meatballs, bacon wrapped scallops, prosciutto-wrapped melon, arancini rice balls, stuffed clams, short ribs, chicken parm, and penne ala vodka. Everything was delicious. But I have to tell you about the cake, which was a show stopper. When I customized my menu, I chose a sheet cake for dessert and I was honestly picturing one of those Costco tray cakes, but the cake was the most beautiful thing! It was stunning and delicious. It was nothing like a sheet cake. The whole event went smoothly. Anthony's wife introduced herself to me, she was very sweet as was her husband whom I met at the end of the evening. I really have to commend the Braicas, they have a wonderful, beautiful little restaurant and their staff was absolutely wonderful. By the time the last guest had left, all our leftovers were tidily packed into packages in two big bags for easy take home. We demolished the leftovers over the next couple days. Thank you for a wonderful celebration. ”
